About the Race

The 5K race begins/ends at COCC campus track. The 1 mile route and kids race will be on the track – both races mostly flat & paved. 

The 5K race will be timed by Time2Race.

KPOV will broadcast Beethoven Symphony No. 5 during the race.

All are welcome! Bring your friends, family, and fellow music lovers. This race is for all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes.

Strollers are welcome. While we love our furry friends, please no dogs on the race course.

Awards for teams, top 3 male and female finishers of the 5K run, and raffle prizes. 5K Masters M&F and age group winners will also receive special recognition.

Registered participants will receive a t-shirt, Symphony member ticket, raffle ticket, ribbon, and a special photo-op with Beethoven himself before & after the race.

This event supports the Central Oregon Symphony.

Race Day Specifics

Costume contest
Dress as your favorite musician or composer. The contest will be held before the race ~ 8:30am. There will be awards for individuals and teams.

Raffle Drawing
Participants can sign up to be in the raffle drawing at packet pickup August 25 or morning of the race. Winners will be drawn during the 5k and posted on a board. Prizes must be picked up that morning.

Kids Race
The kids race will be once around the COCC campus track.
We do not have t-shirts for the kids race. Participants will receive a ribbon.

1 Mile Run/Walk
The 1 Mile run/walk will stay on the COCC campus track.

Top 3 Male & Female 5K finishers
Top 3 finishers will receive prizes.

Top 3 Age Group 5K finishers
Top 3 finishers in each age group will receive awards.
